Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a natural people person who knows how to connect with customers, communicate value, and close. You're comfortable working with your hands, you take pride in doing things right, and you understand that how you treat a customer is just as important as the work you perform. Previous locksmith experience is preferred — candidates with a background in the trade will be given priority consideration. That said, if you have the people skills, the sales instinct, and the mechanical aptitude, we are willing to train the right person.
You must currently reside within Gainesville city limits to be considered for this position. Applications from outside Gainesville will not be reviewed.
What You'll Do:
- Provide locksmith services across residential, commercial, and automotive settings.
- Build rapport with customers quickly and assess their needs on the spot.
- Recommend and present appropriate solutions, products, and service upgrades with confidence.
- Upsell and attach additional services where genuinely beneficial to the customer.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Manage your daily schedule and service appointments independently.
- Represent Be Secure Locksmith with professionalism on every call.
What We're Looking For:
- Must reside within Gainesville city limits.
- A people person — you connect easily, communicate clearly, and customers trust you.
- Proven sales ability — experience in upselling, consultative selling, or service-based sales is strongly preferred.
- Mechanically inclined — comfortable using hand and power tools in a hands-on environment.
- Self-directed and reliable — you manage your time well and don't need to be micromanaged.
- Dependable and punctual — your team and your customers count on you.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Background:
- Previous locksmith experience — strongly preferred
- Experience in retail sales, home services, automotive, or any field where you sold and served customers directly
- Any hands-on trade experience (automotive, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair)
